Principal’s Message

Principal’s Message for 2024-2025

Welcome to Chamberlayne Elementary School, home of the BOBCATS!!!!

You are in the right place! I am so excited to welcome you to Chamberlayne as we kick off the 2024-2025 school year! Here at Chamberlayne our motto is “Be You! Be Here! BELONG!” That vision is behind everything we do for our community:

  1. We recognize that our scholars and families are unique and have their own stories and experiences to share, and we encourage that individuality. We are looking forward to another successful school year.

  2. Learning isn’t just about the content we study but also how we interact with one another. We need our students to be at school every day to maximize their academic, emotional, and social development. We teach more than ABCs and 123s – we teach problem-solving, leadership, peer relationships, self-awareness, critical and creative thinking, and so much more.

  3. Not only do we have an open-style campus, but we also have open hearts. Chamberlayne is a neighborhood school that has served generations of families, and this is their home. We take pride in our relationships and invite everyone to be a part of the journey.

So, stop by and say hello! You are always welcome. Together, we will build a future for our scholars that will empower them to achieve and thrive.

Your Proud Principal,
Charlie Goad
