Principal’s Message

January was a long but short month! 

We missed a few days due to snow days…will February bring more snow? Who knows…

Some dates to keep in mind for this month…

Tuesday 2/6- Parent Teacher Evening Conferences

Semester Benchmark Testing 2/6 – 2/23

Monday 2/12- Report Cards sent home

Tuesday 2/13- Awards Assemblies

4th and 5th grade at 8:15AM
KG and 1st grade at 9:00AM
2nd and 3rd grade at 9:45AM

Friday 2/16- All Pro Dads

Monday 2/19- Regular school day and Chuck E Cheese Spirit Night

Thursday 2/22- Black History Performance by 2nd and 3rd grade

Be sure to check your child’s Friday Folder each weekend and expect a weekly call from me on Sunday evenings.

Renovation Information

Update as of 2/1/2018
Renovations are moving along. I continue to be proud of how our students have handled being in trailers and being rerouted due to construction fencing. 
Timeline
Phase 1: Mid December 2017 – April 2018 (Tentative)
Buildings B and D.  (Pre K, 4th Grade , 5th Grade, Art and Music)
Phase 2: April 2018 through Summer 2018 (Tentative)
Current Main Office and New Office Location (within addition)
New Main Office will be located at end of current B Building near the parking lot with an addition)
Current main office will become the Library/Media Center.
The Cafeteria will also be renovated during this phase.
Phase 3: 2018-2019 School Year (Tentative)
Buildings A and C.
Kg, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade students will be in trailers to start the 2018-2019 school year while these buildings are being renovated.
